Olivier L. - Architect

Our friends Sylvie and Olivier visited us from France last week. I always wanted to capture a great shot of Olivier. I can now tick that off my list !

First Photoshoot For The Bees

On Friday I did my first photoshoot with the bees ! A whole day of shooting in a Studio in North Vancouver. The bees did great !

I went for a simple Butterfly setup on a "Vanity Fair" grey backdrop.

Here are some shots of my good friend Russel Porter.

Bibi And The Bees

Yesterday night I ran some tests with Bibi and the Bees. Alien Bee B800 at half power in Large Softbox above me pointing at the subject and one bare B800 1/4 power against the wall.

Aliens Bees Has Landed !

Today I received my full Alien Bee set straight from the good old Town of Nashville Tenessee ! I've been waiting for the UPS Truck all day and finally at 4PM the truck showed up loaded with my precious goods !

- 2x B800

- 1x Medium Softbox

- 1x Large Softbox

- 2x 13" Heavy Duty Stands

- 1x Wireless Trigger

- 2x Wireless Receiver

- And some nice bags to carry all that !

I love it ! It looks great, the strobes are amazing and the whole branding is hilarious ! It's good to see that professional photographer can still have fun and print alien bees all over their gears !
